Sensory Space and Rooms

A sensory room is a space set up to stimulate a child of any age, (or adult's) senses.

Often found in elementary schools and special needs facilities, therapy clinics, and even museums for children, sensory rooms are used for a variety of reasons.

It is becoming more common to have a sensory area as part of a venue's infrastructure, such as a mall, concert, or social occasion, as well as your own home.

Sensory spaces are becoming increasingly popular for calming people not only with special needs, but for everyone who benefits from using their five senses.

A sensory space does not require a lot of space, just the right equipment.
