Swing therapy
The vestibular system is a sensory system that informs our brain about motion, positioning and orientation. Swing therapy stimulates fluid in the inner ear activating sensors and informing the child of movement. They get use to the sensation of movement, which regulates their system and provides confidence for them to navigate their surroundings.

- The Therapy Swing is designed to be suspended from an anchor bolt (not included), safely secured into a structural beam.
- The swing should be positioned no higher than 40cms from the ground once weight has been applied.

The fabric is a total of 3.2m in length before it is tied, obviously the finished product length can vary slightly depending on how it is tied.It also stretches out with use and the knots tighten.

I definitely don't recommend this swing. The double layers need to be pulled out and repositioned every time you use it, which means my 9yo can not go to it on his own and use it whe he needs to self regulate. If they aren't lined up perfect (which it is even hard for myself and numerous adults to do) then one layer can slip up causing the child to tilt back and fall. Twice now my son has had this happen and the middle of his back landed on the base of the frame. Unfortunately a waste of $250 of our ndis funding. It is hardly ever been used because it causes my son so much frustration when trying to get it right to sit in. Such a shame because he has used similar swings at the OT and at a friends place and they are amazing for him.
Hi Suzie, I received your review, I am sorry the swing is not what you are looking for. If it is in as new condition you can return it to me and i will refund you. I have altered the information on the selling page to say ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED. Although it does say that on the page it is not that clear.
I did offer you a refund earlier, but you had decided you wished to persevere with it.
