ARK’s MEGA Brick Stick is an enhanced version of the popular Brick Stick necklace, designed for individuals who require a more substantial oral motor tool. The MEGA version is larger, providing more sensory input and durability.

Size comparison:

• The original Brick Stick measures approximately 2.5” long, ½” wide, and just under ½” thick.
• The MEGA Brick Stick measures about 6” long, 0.75” wide, and 0.6” thick, offering a size almost four times the bulk and weight of the original.

This increased size makes the MEGA Brick ideal for stronger chewers or those seeking a larger, more robust option for oral sensory input and self-regulation. It’s an effective tool for supporting oral motor development and managing sensory-seeking behaviors in individuals with heightened oral sensory needs.

ARK’s MEGA Brick Stick is a tough handheld chew and does not come on a cord by default, but it does have a hole on one end in case you’d like to add one.

Made in the USA, this tough chew tool is a safe outlet for anyone who needs to chew, and an effective way to help calm, self-regulate, and focus. It has large bumps on one side and small bumps on the other side for lots of sensory input.  Like all other ARK chews, it comes in 3 color-coded toughness levels and TherapySensory currently stocks:

• XXT / Very Firm – This is the toughest level, which we call XXT (“Xtra Xtra Tough”).  It still has some “chewability” to it, but it’s fairly rigid / pretty firm.  No chew tool is indestructible, but this is usually the longest lasting level for avid chewers.

Recommended for children 5 years and up.  Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible.  Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use.  How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.).  While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly.  Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear
